The Vision

Melanie Hamilton, CEO of My 2nd Chance Ltd, first envisioned this service in 2016 after witnessing her mother’s struggle to care for herself and her longing for traditional, home-cooked Caribbean food.

Although the family worked together like a small village to support our matriarch, there were times when we simply could not provide meals within the needed timeframe. It was then that Melanie realised how valuable a service like this would be for others in similar situations.

In loving tribute to the late Nancy Miller, we now offer authentic Caribbean home-cooked meals, delivered straight to your door on a weekly basis. Why not give us a try?

Ordering & Delivery

Place your order by Sunday at 6:00pm, and we will deliver or have your meal ready for collection from Wednesday at 3:30pm onwards. If you prefer to collect your order, please let us know in advance.

Gift A Meal

We are so please to inform you about our initiative "Gift a Meal" that was launched in September 2020. We know that times are hard, and we are going to keep expanding and looking at ways we can help and assist our community. So, you can gift a meal to a family or individual in need by making a direct donation of £10.00 per meal. We are so grateful to those that have already done this, thank you. We will keep helping and supporting those less fortunate to have a cooked meal at least once a week.

We have successfully gifted: 1120 meals to date. This is thanks to so many of you!! Let's keep this going!!

How to order

Please go to STORE and choose 1 main, then choose 2 sides for £10.00. You can order as many meals as you require, but always choose a main and 2 sides, £10.00 each order.

Why not "Gift a Meal" you can provide a meal for someone who is in need. We have to date because of you, been able to give 120 families/individuals a meal because of you!! Thank you!!

Every Wednesday until further notice. All orders must be submitted by the Sunday at 6:00pm before delivery, if you miss this deadline ensure you call the office to see if a bespoke order can be obtained at an additional fee.

Orders over £30.00 will not incur the £2.50 delivery charge.
